Get your Business Ducks in a Row and Get Ready for the Next Level of Success.

If your creative business is not quite where you'd like it to be, it's time to look at your foundational pillars.

Starting a business is the ‘easy’ bit. Growing a business is the not-so-easy bit! Once the initial adrenaline and enthusiasm that gets you to the starting line starts to wear off, the hard work really begins and things can start to get a little chaotic – especially if you don’t have solid structures in place.

In the early stages of your business, the learning curve will be steep. You’ll make mistakes, change direction, try new things, get feedback – good and bad – and possibly find yourself meandering down a few cul de sacs, before you really find your flow.

This is all part of the journey – the key to not burning out and actually getting to the next level is making sure that you don’t stay in the ‘learning’ phase for too long and that you take all that new knowledge and insight and turn it into action.

If you’re feeling a bit stuck, overwhelmed, as though you’ve hit a plateau or you’re just not where you want to be with your business, it will almost always come back to a problem with one of your foundational pillars.

Product: Is your product or service something that people are actually ready and willing to pay money for? For most people, budgets are tight right now, so if someone is going to dip into that budget for your product it needs to solve a painful problem or fulfil a deep desire. We’ll look at your product and make sure it’s the best it can possibly be.

Proposition: Now that your product has been out in the wild for a while and you’ve had some feedback or testimonials we’ll look at how you’re talking about your product. What is your key proposition. It’s not always easy to nail it when you launch so it might be time to tweak your language and make your proposition even more compelling.

People: Are you targeting the right people? Do you know exactly who they are and why they need your product? Maybe when you launched you imagined that your ideal client was Mr. or Mrs. A and it turns out that they’re actually Mr. or Mrs. B. If that’s the case it’s time to redirect your messaging. From an internal perspective, have you got the right people around you? Is it time to outsource what you no longer have the time or energy to do? Let’s explore the options.

Processes: This final P can make or break your business – particularly when things really start to ramp up and you’re ready to go stellar. Are you automating as much as you can? Do you know why and when everything happens in your business? If you suddenly won a million pound/dollar contract or your product blew up on TikTok, would you be able to handle it? Let’s get robust processes in place so that the answer is yes!

Growing a business can be hard, but it doesn’t have to be complicated. Taking things to the next level might mean stripping right back, letting go of the things that aren’t working and focusing your time, energy and enthusiasm on the things that are working. And that's what I'm here to help you with.

Here's what's involved:

  • A deep-dive audit of your 4Ps — Product, Proposition, People and Process — to spot what’s working, what’s missing, and where to focus

  • Honest, strategic conversations to help you refine your offer and make sure it’s still hitting the mark

  • Messaging and positioning tweaks so your dream clients instantly get the value of what you do

  • Support with identifying gaps in your team or systems so you’re not doing everything yourself

  • Help building sustainable, scalable processes that free up your time and grow with you

  • The accountability and direction you need to move out of “learning” and into action
